Medication review

Before the procedure, the doctor will review your medication list and inform you whether you can safely continue taking them or if they should be temporarily discontinued.

Anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen, aspirin)
Typically discontinued a few days before the procedure (applies to PRP, exosomes , stem cells)
Anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin, heparin, aspirin, clopidogrel)

Diet and hydration

Eat a regular meal before the procedure. Do not arrive on an empty stomach (unless your doctor tells you otherwise). If you are suspectible to hypoglycemia, please inform your doctor. Snacks are recommended.

Stem cells, exosomes, PRP

Fasting is not usually required, but follow your doctor’s instructions – recommendations may include eating a light meal and staying well hydrated.

Stay hydrated the day before and on the day of your procedure (unless your doctor tells you otherwise).

24–48 hours before the procedure.

Travel arrangements (domestic and international patients)

If you are arriving from another country, stay in the clinic’s area for at least 1-2 days after the procedure in case of any follow-up or unexpected reactions.
