Your Care Journey: Consultation, Comfort & Follow-ups

Informed Consent & Preparation

The process of obtaining informed consent
Patient Education

Before the procedure, the NOVACELL team meets with the patient to discuss all available treatment options: stem cell therapies, plasmapheresis , IV therapies, potential benefits, risks, and alternatives. Patients receive clear, understandable information and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Emphasis on patient rights

The patient is informed about his rights and obligations, as well as about all aspects of therapy that may influence his decision.

After obtaining all the information and dispelling any doubts, the patient signs the informed consent form, confirming that he or she understands the nature of the procedure, the risks and the alternatives.

Preparation for the procedure
Medical Interview and Documentation

Before the procedure, a detailed medical interview is conducted, including a review of medical history, current medications, and any allergies. The patient completes an extensive medical questionnaire (QUESTIONARE.pdf), which allows for an individual risk assessment and treatment eligibility.

Pre-procedure instructions

The patient receives recommendations regarding taking or discontinuing specific medications, diet, hydration, and any necessary fasting before the procedure. Logistical assistance is provided if necessary (e.g., for international patients).

Eligibility for the procedure

The physician assesses whether the patient meets the criteria for stem cell therapy, analyzing laboratory and imaging test results, among other factors. Eligibility is individualized and based on current guidelines and the patient’s health status.

The Stem Cell Procedure

Autologous cell collection
Preparation and administration of cells
Cell Processing

Collected cells are immediately transferred to the laboratory for isolation, purification, and quality control (purity, viability, and absence of microbial contamination). Advanced quality monitoring technologies such as ChromaLIVE ™ and AutoHCS ™ are utilized.

Cell Administration

Cells are administered to the patient intravenously (for a systemic effect) or locally (e.g., into a joint, muscle, or organ, depending on the indication). The procedure is performed in a comfortable environment, maintaining complete privacy.

Duration and return home

Most procedures are minimally invasive and allow for same-day return home. Patients remain under observation until the effects of anesthesia wear off and stable general condition is confirmed.

Aftercare & Recovery
